The University of Texas at Arlington's Division for Enterprise Development, along with ChemAlliance, the Texas Chemical Council, and the East Harris County Manufacturers Association, will be presenting a one-day workshop on the Chemical Facilities Anti-Terrorism Standards (CFATS) regulations, June 4, 2008 in Pasadena TX.
Our speakers will include:
- Lawrence M. Stanton, Acting Director, Infrastructure Security Compliance Division, U.S. Department of Homeland Security
- James W. Conrad, Jr., Principal, Conrad Law & Policy Counsel
- H. M. Leith, Senior Principal Consultant, AcuTech Consulting Group
- Scott Butner, Director, ChemAlliance
- Moderated by Thomas Vinson, UTA Division for Enterprise Development.
In addition to covering the requirements of the CFATS regulation, we will examine the role that P2 and inherently safer process technology can play in an integrated site security plan.
