Lake Michigan car ferry service|
A new cross-lake ferry between
Milwaukee, Wis., and Muskegon, Mich., is scheduled to begin service
in June 2004. The Lake Michigan Car Ferry is the first high-speed
vehicle and passenger ship ever built and designed to operate within
the continental U.S.

The U.S. Environmental Protection
Agency's Great Lakes National Program Office is requesting initial
proposals for projects, collectively totaling up to $4,180,000,
furthering protection and clean up of the Great Lakes ecosystem.
Proposals are due by 8 a.m. CST, March 29.
BaySail supports its Environmental
Education and Youth Development programs through public sails,
private charters and group tours around Lake Huron.
