BEACHNET==> storm frequency less than the one year storm

hi - i am looking for data just like attached table (copied off the noaa web at http://hdsc.nws.noaa.gov/hdsc/pfds/index.html), but instead of beginning with one year storms, i am looking for storm frequencies of less than a 1 year storm - because most storms during the summer in nj that drive up bacteria levels in the ocean and bays near storm drains are <1 year storms -

we have a pay weather site locally that records 6 minute rain levels, and i would like to be able to start comparing storm intensity to a storm frequency table for storms of less than 1 year frequency,

right now when we compare bacteria levels for these smaller storms we just look at the total amount over a 24 hour period, and so the data often comes out random - for example, a .5" drizzle over 12 hours will produce less impacts from bacteria-laden storm water than .5" in an hour, because the former will have more infiltration and the latter will be more 'flashy' - it would be useful when looking at trends for provisional closures/forecasting to also have these smaller storms assigned to categories that reflect intensity, as noaa is doing for >=1 year storms

if anyone knows where i can start looking for a storm frequency chart for storms in the ny/nj metro area of less than 1 year frequency please let me know - or if anyone has crossed this bridge and wants to point me in a direction

thanks for your time
