Attached is a photo of NPS divers in 20+ feet of water on the bottom of
Lake Michigan off Sleeping Bear Dunes showing Cladophora dominating the bottom.

The occurrence of Cladophora and possible association of pathogenic bacteria is currently being investigated by several investigators
