The 2012 Great Lakes Beach Association conference will take place October 16-18, 2012, at the Mission Point Resort on Mackinac Island, Michigan. See below for information about the resort, group room rates and Arnold Ferry transit.

Group Room Rates

To book your lodging at Mission Point Resort, call toll-free (800) 833-7711 between the hours of 9 a.m.-7 p.m. M-F or 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday. Guests must mention the Great Lakes Beach Association group to receive these special, reduced room rates.

Reservations must be made by Sept. 7 in order to receive these rates!

  • Garden Double $77.00 per room, per night, single/double occupancy
  • Straits View $77.00 per room, per night, single/double occupancy
  • Lakeside $109.00 per room, per night, single/double occupancy
  • Lakeview $109.00 per room, per night, single/double occupancy
  • Family Suite $119.00 per room, per night, single/double/triple occupancy
  • Hot Tub Suite $139.00 per room, per night, single/double/triple occupancy
  • Signature Suite $149.00 per room, per night, single/double occupancy
There is a maximum of four adults allowed in a room. Room rates are quoted exclusive of applicable state and local taxes (which are currently 6%), 2% Mackinac Island Assessment and 10% Resort Levy or applicable service, or hotel specific fees in effect at the Hotel at the time of the meeting. If you have tax exempt status as a state (or other) employee, please be sure to bring appropriate documentation.

Arnold Ferry Line is the oldest yet most modern passenger ferry and freight service from Mackinaw City and St. Ignace, Michigan, to historic Mackinac Island. Arnold has been welcoming thousands of vacationers and groups "Up North" for more than 125 years.

Ferries leave every 1-2 hours, 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m., to make the crossing between Mackinac Island and the docks at Mackinaw City and St. Ignace. The crossing takes approximately 15 minutes.
