The Stevensville area has an economic boost in its future. Tuesday night, in a close 4-3 vote, the Lincoln Township Board approved the 250-million dollar condo and commercial development. The 32-acre project will sit between the Lake Michigan waterfront and Red Arrow Highway.

Formerly the Lake Michigan Federation, the Alliance is a nonprofit, public interest organization focusing on protecting the Great Lakes through a variety of "Positive Change" projects.

Illinois-Indiana Sea Grant
Focuses on invasive species, aquaculture, fisheries, the future of communities that border southern Lake Michigan, and other issues that affect the coast through K-12 education, research and outreach projects.

Lake Michigan Committee
Great Lakes Fishery Commission
The committee considers fishery issues of common concern, develops joint programs and research projects and serves as a forum for management agencies.
